Skills:
1st aid, herbalism/alchemy, really anything that is helpful in running a successful business such as diplomacy, a head for logic and the keen ability to read people, handy with a knife, etc. Anna is also a fair shot with a pistol... it is one of those necessary skills when protecting vasts amount of alcohol. She has a few tricks up her sleeves.

History:
Anna Maria is the decedent of the original owner of the inn, Elizabeth Barton. Prior to taking over, her Aunt Milly and Uncle Joseph owned the establishment. They chose to retire about a year ago to reside in a milder climate due to health reasons. Having no children of their own, Anna was offered the inn. Upon arriving she found while it wasn't run down, it did need some TLC and a bit of updating.

Her own parents are out of the picture. Her mother passed away from an illness (Sophie had never been a strong woman), and her father is unknown... though she is sure her aunt has some information regarding this topic. Anna has mixed feelings regarding her parentage. Milly and Joe helped to raise her, and did their best to provide her with good opportunities growing up. One way was through sending her to boarding school in London once she was old enough (this was also in the hopes that she would be a bit safer there considering the unpredictable events surrounding the inn).

As a young adult Anna Maria has done a fair amount of traveling around the world, occasionally selling her concoctions to help fund her adventures. She did some consulting for a company as well; though she signed a non-disclosure agreement and can not divulge the specifics of her employment.

Magical Ability:
None that are what one would consider worth mentioning. Her concoctions in the way of brews and salves seem to have an extra oomph, but Anna insists that she doesn't do anything different than anyone else.

Additional Notes:
Anna has limited tolerance for those who are disrespectful. It is unwise to anger the one who does the cooking for the inn.
