Lucasi
Slipping into kitchen, wearing the same tattered, and stained pants, he hangs back long enough for the kitchen staff to leave, before making stepping into the inn, with his eyes scanning the pots and pans, which he lightly taps lightly, smiling at the noise. Before moving to some food that had been laid out to be prepared later. He sniffs at a tray of vegetables and recoils hacking and gagging at the smell. He turns and samples a piece of cheese, and immediately spits it out. He soon finds a piece of raw uncooked meat, which he plucks up between his fingers and examines for several seconds before popping it into his mouth. savoring the taste.

The sound of someone about to be sick on her kitchen floor draws Anna Maria's attention from the herbs. Putting the mortar and pestle she was in the middle of grinding herbs in aside, she cracks the door open to get a visual of what is going on. Spotting Lucasi acquainting himself with today's food preparations she's torn between laughing and banging her head on the wall.

Standing, she sidesteps out of the still room and leans against the wall with her arms crossed. "I see you've made yourself comfortable. Can I help you find something?"

Lucasi
"No...I have found the edibles." Lucasi says, helping himself to another chunk of raw meat, before turning to Anna as he begins to chew, revealing several claw and bite marks to his body, which begins to heal as he chews and swallow the chunk of meat. "I  decided to make myself useful, to prevent you from sending your warriors after me, and to better win your favor over my fathers..." He says trailing off as he sniffs at the air. "Why do you smell like sweat and....the demon man? Did the two of you commit coitus?" He asks with an edge of disappointment in his voice.

She watches him devour the raw meat with a raised eyebrow but doesn't say anything. It looks like he earned it. Anna's not sure why, but she find's his judgement towards her nighttime activities a touch disturbing. "My bedroom activities are not your concern."

Rather wanting to avoid being lectured or questioned on this topic, she changes it. "Your help is appreciated. What did you kill?" Crossing the room she pours a glass of water from the sink and takes a sip. Out of the corner of her eye Anna spots the half chewed wad of cheese on the floor and considers giving him a disapproving look of her own.

Lucasi
"Other than some humans don't bathe in the mornings, I learned something about the other about the one called famine...She's wicked...and no man can stand against her....Even Lucasi..." He says, saying the name with a smile and a swelling of pride in his tone, "Her commands cut through my brain and thoughts, tearing me apart inside...But I fled, I fly faster now than any other. She sent fliers...a escaped the gargoyle, and outfought the demon...used his flesh to increase my will and sonic scream...." Shaking his head, he acknowledges his rambling off topic. "Sorry, don't speak to many, most run and scream...Others shoot, so I break...try not to kill..." he says, shrugging before amending, "sometimes.." Meeting her gaze again, "I heard them say she can use the abilities of any two she meets... She prefers using the power of Shadow, and someone called Michael Gallatin...Although he inherits some of one of their weaknesses. She's most vulnerable when she changes her abilities...Her eyes flash, then she closes, she'll be weak for seconds...act fast...."

As Luca talks the gears in her brain turn trying to process all of this information. "No need to apologize. I find conversation with you rather enlightening."

Listening to the rest of what he has to say the glass in her hand falls to the floor, shattering at the mention of Famine's ability to use Shadow and Michael's abilities. The noise brings her out of her stunned state and Anna swears. "Excellent information. Eat all the raw meat you want."

On the bright side, if they know who's abilities the woman is tapping into then they also know what weakness to take advantage of...

Lucasi
Taking a slight bow, "I am pleased my information pleased you, I have little desire to get that close to famine again. She wishes to stop me from being Lucasi, I believe she wishes me dead...or a slave, I refuse to kneel, I like my will being my own, and I prefer to serve you under my own choosing." He says, turning back to the raw meat, helping himself to a large helping. "Her mind control doesn't affect females...I was tempted to adapt, but I like me. And clothes are difficult for me to come upon as is."

Amazed by how much information Lucasi has gathered during his little adventure, Anna grins. "My friend I am more then happy to find you clothes. In fact, I'll do that right now."

Considering how many men there are around the inn a stray pair of pants or two should be fairly easy to come by. While she could just as easily go shopping for them, these days are not the best for her to wander around without additional protection. Still in a bit of a daze the innkeeper steps over the broken glass and hurries up the stairs.

Lucasi

Smiling, but quickly looking away, aware of how unsettling a creature like him looks whenever he smiles. "I...I think you. I'm still learning how to clean...few seem willing to let me watch them wash clothes, for many find my visage frightening." He says with a shrug and finishing his handful of meat. and beginning to lick his fingers clean.

Lucasi

Still clinging his fingers, he hears tray drop and glances up to see a terrified serving girl staring at him in horror, before bringing a quivering hand to her mouth and letting out a scream, startling Lucasi who open his mouth and mimics her terrified scream back at her, the sight of him screaming at her scares her more than his scream, prompting her to turn and run screaming back out of the kitchen, scrambling over the counter, and the floor of the tap room, knocking over a surprised patron, before going through the front door so fast and hard she practically takes it with it as she runs off into the streets screaming.

Lucasi, straightens and his features screw up in confusion, and realizing he may have reacted porrly, slowly backs away finding a small section of the wall he presses up against and begins blending in with the wall at his back.

Rushing down the kitchen stairs Anna is relieved that the room is blood free and in the same general order it was in when she left Lucasi earlier.

Not sure where the inn's newest protector has wandered off to, but sure by the lack of continued screaming that the tap room was not in his path of travel, she puts the pants down on the counter and wonders which girl she needs to replace.

Spotting Anna, he steps away from the wall, letting his camouflage fade back to normal.
"My apologies, the woman startled me...." He says stepping further forward, spotting the pants on the counter when eyes widen and lighten up.

"Is this for me?" He asks, stepping towards the pants reaching out, before hesitating, turning to look scan the kitchen he spots the sink and quickly turns on the tap to wash his hands.

Holding back her laughter, unsure of how it would be received she nods. "Women can be startling. And, yes, the pants are for you."

Luca washing his hands makes for an odd image- though not entirely unsettling. If someone told her a week ago a creepy looking bat/man creature would be getting domestic in her kitchen she would have called them crazy. Now she's starting to wonder if she's a little cracked in the head.

"Next time you want to go on a kitchen raid give me a heads up. I'll make sure none of my staff startles you."

"My apologies, I had assumed your staff would have grown accustom to those who are different," He says turning to her and quickly crossing the distance back to the pants. Lightly running his fingers down along the fabric. "My memories when I was father are scattered, jumbled, but wasn't there a few creatures staying here at one time? A blood drinking, a man who was a wolf, another who was demon." He pauses glancing up at the ceiling to think, "Oh and a man who was pirate, but not quite human....nd the creepy fellow who always hid the bottom of his face beneath a shroud."

"It has been a while since we've had so many interesting individuals under this roof at the same time. Us humans have a short lifespan and an even shorter memory in comparison to your father."

Anna figures a warning may be in order least Shroud take any offense or Lucasi mistakes the mystery man for an enemy. "Mind what you say about the creepy fellow with the shroud. He's lurking around here somewhere. He's not meat for the time being."

Guessing Slick probably has Shard healed a bit more thoroughly by now she moves towards the stairs. "Stay safe and try not to get yourself into too much trouble Luca."

Bowing he picks up the pants, and begins making his way to the back door of the kitchen, thinking that maybe next time he should request a room. He wasn't fond of the colder weather. Though he could survive any extreme temperatures. But he decides not to press his luck and wonders what great act he'd have to do to earn enough of the Inn Keeper's favor to earn a room.

Stepping outside he climbs up to the roof where he begins to change.

Hetty looks around the kitchen, trying to leave it as tidy as she left it and failing only a little. Assembling a tray of tea, biscuits and a small plate of cookies she managed to find tucked away. With a little laugh she adds a glass of milk on the tray for Cole. Pretty sure she has everything she needs, the young woman makes her way back into the tap room.
